In general, anti-explosion stainless steel ball valves are designed as trunnion mounted ball valves. Relative moving parts are made from self-lubricating materials having extremely low friction coefficient. So, the valves have low torque. What’s more, due to long-term sealing of sealing greases, the operation is more flexible.
Features of anti-explosion stainless steel ball valves:
(1) Stainless steel ball valves are designed as full bore or reduce bore, having low flow resistance;
(2) Anti-explosion stainless steel ball valves adopt two-way metal flexible sealing structure, having self-compensate, self-cleaning and excellent sealing performance;
(3) Anti-explosion stainless steel ball valves adopt trunnion mounted structure and also added with preloading spring so that the valves have self-releasing performance.
(4) Anti-explosion stainless steel ball valves have two flexible sealing seats. Two directions can be sealed. Nevertheless, flow direction of media can be neglected when installing valves;
(5) Anti-explosion stainless steel ball valves have fire protection and anti-static structure. Conductive spring is equipped between stem and body, stem and body to prevent inflammable media from being ignited for electrostatic spark, ensuring security of system;
(6) The ball valves are under double protection of fire proof structure. When fire occurs and sealing ring is damaged, every sealing parts on ball valves can form metal-to-metal hard sealing structure;
(7) Anti-explosion stainless steel ball valves have self-decompressing structure. When fluid media remained in mesocoele of valves is gasified for temperature growth, pressure in mesocoele grows unusually. Media in mesocoele can push seat for self-decompressing relying on own trust, ensuring security of valves.
