Electric metal sealing ball valve has two categories of sealing structure, one-way sealing and two-way sealing. One-way sealing means that the valve can only seal the direction marked on the valve. Two-way sealing can seal both of two directions. Structures of electric metal sealing ball valve are classified into floating and trunnion mounted. Connection types include flange connection, welding connection and thread connection. Electric actuator is inlaid servo system. So servo amplified is unnecessary. Imputing 4-20mA signal and 220VAC/380V power source can control operation. 

 

Electric metal sealing ball valve has the advantages of simple connection, compact structure, light weight, low resistance, stability and reliability. The ball valve is mainly used for cutting-off and regulation. Ball valve is connected directly to actuator. Electric metal sealing ball valve is mainly used under the temperature above 250 degrees centigrade.  

 

Electric metal sealing ball valve has been widely applied in petroleum, chemical engineering, metallurgy, urban heat supply, etc. However, the sealing pair is made from PTFE high polymer materials. Nevertheless, the ball valve cannot be used for over 280 degrees centigrade or transmitting media which are molecule. For hard sealing ball valves whose sealing pair is made from metal materials, various situations may occur due to different structures when rotating ball. For example, in terms of metal sealing elastic seat sealing structure, elastic sealing does not form gap with ball, the structure has quite large friction. 

 

For floating sealing ball valves, the gap between floating seal and ball is not sealed easily. For strutting sealing structure, too many parts and complex structure increase processing difficulties and manufacturing cost. In particular, the structure is not fit for small dimension hard sealing ball valves.
